Sights and leissure

Two of Jutland’s main family attractions are located very close to Langelund Apartments. Both the Lego park known for its building blocks and the Givskud Zoo known for lions which can offer all-day entertainment for every family member. The parks can be reached within a 10 minute drive and a 20 minutes drive.

If you want to go for a swim there are several places to go. Indoor swimming baths are located in Billund (Lalandia) and Grindsted. And an outdoor swimming bath can be found in Give. 20 km. north of Langelund Apartments in Brande You can find a fresh water lake with a nice sandy beach.

Fine beaches can also be found in a one hour drive to the west where the North Sea every year attracts thousands of people. If you go east instead you will also find good beaches. The beaches on the east coast are smaller than on the west coast but not as windy as the west coast beaches can be sometimes.

Conveniences / shopping

Everyday necessities are available at the local grocers in Filskov (3 km.). A larger selection of articles and shops can be found in Billund (8 km.), Give (10 km.) and Grindsted (15 km.). If you really like shopping departments stores and shopping malls are located in Vejle (35 km.), Kolding (45 km.) and Herning (50 km.)
